Day 1 of our “apuan emotions”
From Pruno village we enter surrounding chestnut woods and cross ancient bridges, understanding that lives have developed thanks to these two elements:water and chestnut. Then, we cross a very rich in water valley, climbing up on to the slopes towards Rifugio Forte dei Marmi: nice setting, below the first byzarre forms of southern Apuan Alps
