Amati-Ortonovo-Fontia

Our itinerary starts briefly up the hill towards Ortonovo, and then levels out on the ancient mule track which was linking the hamlet to Fontia. The loop starting from Ortonovo, amid olive groves, nice mountain views and enjoyable stops, can be walked in both ways: here we suggest it clockwise. Along the way you’ll find a Bar (Circolo Ortonovo), a pizza place/restaurant (da Mauro) before Fontia and a further option after Fontia ( da MAssimo Giramondo).

As you leave Fontia looping back to Ortonovo, views open up toward the coast: it is remarkable walking this section upon spring or summer sunsets
