Buggiano and Uzzano loop

Another walk to discover the villages of Valdinievole.

Today we discover the territory of Buggiano, with its ancient settlements, its enviable position and local specificities. A series of paths radiating from Buggiano Castle trace ancient roads and connect other castles, bridges, mills and woods.

We will use them to connect the territory of Buggiano with that of Uzzano, across the “I Pianacci” plateau, on the ancient limes between Pistoia, Lucca and Florentine spheres of influence.

We won’t miss the opportunity to taste a local product: a beer prepared by hand with hops grown on the farm.
