Snowshoeing

Colle delle Capanne from Vianova loop

A beautiful snowshoe loop which is normally possible in winter (with snow level at least 1100m of elevation). Suitable for families with children or for beginners. Some notes:

  • Browse the weather forecasts at www.meteoapuane.it well to avoid the risk of ice, an insidious feature of the Apuan Alps
  • Snowshoe rental possible at the adjacent ski-lifts
