D1_ Carrara and Lunigiana

Transfer to Carrara and immediate start of the Marble Quarry tour, with 4×4 . 3 hours for 3 different marble valleys, talking about extraction techniques, history of this tradition. Lunch in Colonnata, at the end of excursion, in an unique environment; in the afternoon we move on,entering Lunigiana, possibly the most preserved and secluded set of valleys of the tour: drive up towards Apella, a magnifique setting lost back in medioeval times; site inspection followed by realx in this enchanting place; dinner at the marvellous Agriturismo Montagna Verde
