Monte Gennaio from Orsigna

From the town of Orsigna, a quiet climb initially following the forest road on the east side of the valley. The Portafranca Refuge is an essential point of support for a restorative stop before tackling the climb to the Monte January coma and the exciting, safe and panoramic ridge that leads south towards the second refuge of this walk, the one – not managed – of the Montanaro .
