Monte Prana from Casoli

It is true that the Apuane are difficult due to their challenging gradients, but Mount Prana is one of what are called “the restful Apuane”: its ascent presents no difficulty and from its top you can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea, the coast and the islands and the southern Apuane. Furthermore, the departure area, with the town of Casoli, has a very curious feature, namely the decorations with the so-called “sgraffiti”, small murals scattered around the town that tell local stories and depict the life and tradition of the valley.
