San Giuliano Lucca loop through Puccini bike path

From San Giuliano we reach Lucca through an easy and pleasant ride, along the banks of river Serchio: the so called “Ciclovia Puccini”. This we’ll lead us to retrack Via Francigena as it enters Lucca. Bu bike is easy to explore town and its most interesting sites and monuments. From here we can arrange a pick-up, or  retrack the same way back to San Giuliano, else loop back through the hills of Monte Pisano, adding more exploration of the countryside, fun ups and downs, panoramic points.
