Here, near the Passo della Calla, we are already in the heart of the Casentinesi Forests National Park and you can make both ridge and woodland routes, discovering one of the richest forest heritage in Italy.
If on the first day we go up to the La Burraia Refuge from the pass, and wander around at night with the moonlight to get to know the Apennine environment under other guises, the next day we will push on the watershed ridge to climb the peaks that stand out above the limit. arboreal, ringing Mount Falco, the highest peak, and Falterona, from which the Arno river springs. The descents from the highest points of our route to the Pass will give us beautiful scenery and fun passages.
