D1: from Media Valle up to Apuan side

Upstream the river Serchio valley, we start admiring one of its symbols: Ponte della Maddalena (also known as “Devil’s Bridge”) is an official start point of this journey, and a must see

Our tour proceed towards the capital town of the valley: Castelnuovo Garfagnana (which we’ll visit later on the week). So far, we find our backroads across Apuan side, up the valley of Torrite to Resort “La Ceragetta”: a diffuse hotel, with swimming pool and mountain view, coming from the rfurbishing of an entire village.
