From Cisa pass to Pontremoli

Very wild stage, which occasionally crosses some remote hamlets of the Massese Apennines, where few people still live in the mountains. For us it will be a day full of paths, bridges and river crossings up to Pontremoli, the “cultural capital” of Lunigiana. Here we will sleep in the Piagnaro Castle with hostel-style accommodation in a unique medieval setting. A visit to the Steel Statue Museum inside the Castle is recommended (upon arrival or before departure). Dinner in the village with typical products of Lunigiana.
