From Alpe di Puntato to Foce di Mosceta (n.129)

Option for reaching Foce di Mosceta from Puntato along the foot of Monte Corchia (2h.ca., climbing up to about 1400m; see path n.129) reaching the Del Freo Refuge from above. Through the cool and shady “retrocorchia” in summer, through beautiful beech woods, you go along the north side of Monte Corchia until you gain a view from the top of the Mosceta Valley and the Pania-Pizzo delle Saette group.
It is assumed that the journey will be with fully loaded backpacks during the morning, while the afternoon can be devoted to exploring the surroundings of the Del Freo Refuge with a minimal backpack.
